Bring your Bible to class!Discuss Islam: its emergence in Arabia, its spread, the cultures impacted by it, and its doctrines (Five Pillars of Islam); begin comparing and contrasting Islam and Christianity (distribute Selections from the Quran)Read Selections from the Quran (7th History: Selections from the Quran); have a discussion with your parents or another respected authority regarding these selections; for each of the three sections (on Charity, on Nonbelievers, and on Christ), find a Bible verse that explains the Christian view on each issue, recording each verse in your notebookNo ClassParents: I am assigning a few sections of the Quran as readings this week, and I would appreciate it greatly if you would read through the selections with your student.
